Joseph's B-Day—Love that boy!!

Slept in. 'Til 8:15! Got up, had breakfast, started the day, then went down again for a couple of hours! Tired! Finally, got going about noon on the things necessary of the day. Marian is chipper, and did a washing and seems fine. She's just about over the cough from her cold, and is feeling better than she has for a couple of weeks. She's beautiful, and such a faithful companion. She knows just how to take me w/ my moods and help me with the bad ones and move me to a better one. She's extremely dedicated to our mission, and does her part and more. I look for success on this mission, with the help of the Lord, but if failure comes, it will be mine, not hers! Wrote letters to Pres. McCook and José Castro, CES in Lisbon. they were both very helpful yesterday. Studied, got lazy again after supper, felt regenerated. I'll really hit it tomorrow!!
