[Tucson]

Slow start-up. Marian and I missed Sunday School and Priesthood/Relief Society and caught up on journals and talked quietly. It seemed to be a good time for it. Sacrament Meeting here in the Tucson 25th Ward was good. Best part of the program (after the Sacrament) was the talks given by Mary Ellen and John. They each spoke, each very well, each humbly and with testimony, and I was so proud I could have popped all my buttons. Mary Ellen spoke on prayer, John on missionary work. I'm more grateful than I could say, that this little family is getting along so well. They seem to be prospering in all departments—spiritually, financially, maritally, etc. They understand each other, make allowances, are complementary one to another. Evening we played a couple of games and it was nice to be together.
